ACCESS & SECURITY
Named, least-privilege access to your systems, revocable by you at any time. Production data stays in your environments. Regulated data (health, payment card, criminal justice) gets the required terms in place before work begins. A named senior engineer owns your work end to end. No subcontractors without your written consent.
HOW A MIGRATION IS VERIFIED
Verified record by record means six checks, each one written down before cutover.
Row-count reconciliation
Every table, source against target, with the variance and its cause on record. See a sample report (PDF)
Checksums on key fields
Hash comparison on identifiers, amounts, and dates, so a transformed field cannot drift unnoticed.
Referential integrity
Every foreign key resolves in the target. Orphans are listed for you to resolve.
Field-level diff on a sample set
A drawn sample compared field by field, with each mismatch explained.
A documented rollback path
Written and rehearsed before cutover, so the way back is known before it is needed.

HOW WE WORK
Step 1: Discovery
When a system is undocumented or the problem isn't clear yet, we start with a one-week discovery block. This gives you a written summary of our findings and an estimate for the work ahead.
Step 2: Written scope
We outline the deliverables, acceptance criteria, dependencies, timeline, and an estimate. Anything outside this scope is added in writing before it begins.
Step 3: Build in the open
You get regular written updates. If the work is going to go past the estimate, we tell you first so you can decide how to proceed.
Step 4: Document and hand over
Every deliverable comes with the documentation you need to run it without us. All work is yours.
The written scope arrives within two business days of the first call.
